How to Share Audible Books?

You might have heard this quote, So many books, so little time.  Audiobook Publishers Association and Edison Researchers, recently reported that around 73% of the people using it have found them to be relaxing. They help squeeze in more reading time in your daily life and to make that reading list shorter. 

Friends often go for the books that other people suggest. If you find something interesting, you can always share it with other people instantly. Now the next question arises, Can you share audible books?

Well, of course! It’s not rocket science. Although the audiobooks are encoded with DRM, by following a few simple steps, you can easily share audible books. 

Let’s look at three ways that you can opt to do the same. 

1. Sharing Feature

This will be beneficial for people who are not Audible members. First, you have to open the Audible app or the website and then go to Discover or Library to find the book you want to share. The Share button is located in the top right corner. Tap it to access it. You can choose the location where you want to share your Audible book or the person to whom you will send it from the share options menu.

This is exclusive for Amazon members to share their audible content and payment methods with another account. 

You may use this technique to share the complete library of Audible books with your family. To do this, existing Audible members must first create an Amazon Household sharing account. 

The first thing is to create an Amazon Family Account by going to the Amazon Household in the web browser. You are required to enter all the details of your family members and then verify the accounts. 

Now comes the procedure of sharing Audiobooks with family. Go to Manage Your Content and Devices. Then select the Audiobook options by clicking the content button. Once complete, the Family Library’s shared contents are available to all members of the same Household account. 

There are also two additional ways to share Audible books with others via gifts or files. 

3. Give as a Gift Feature

Audible provides a gifting option with its Audiobooks. For its subscribers, you can buy an audiobook with Audible credits or a credit card and then give it as a present to loved ones. 

This option offers a lot of flexibility, whether it is for sharing your audiobooks or sending an audiobook as a festival gift. 

Visit audible.com and select a book you want to share from the Browse or Library section. Then select more options and choose Give as a gift on the landing page for the title. 

To send your gift, choose Email or Print on the invite page. Before adding your name, enter the recipient’s name. Verify every aspect of the gift audiobook before choosing to Buy with 1 credit or dollar to complete the transaction. A confirmation email for your gift order will be sent to you. 

These above-mentioned methods are the three official ways by which you can share audible books. Now you can enjoy listening to audiobooks while gardening, cooking, or driving.
