Soil Nutrient Requirements: Deep loamy soils with a pH range of 5.5 to 6.6 with higher organic matter content and good drainage are suited for cauliflower cultivation. 375 g/ha seeds are required. 100 sq. m nursery area is sufficient for raising one hectare.
Sowing Method: The seeds should be sown in lines at a spacing of 8-10 cm between rows and 1.5-2 cm between seeds at a depth of 1.5-2 cm. The seed should be covered with sand and FYM mixture. Sowing of seed should be done at a distance 8 to 10 centimeters between seedlings and 1.5-2 cm in the rows.
