- Instructions:
- Place the stone in a cup of water and wait for the stone to sink
- Wait 5 minutes to allow the stone to soften
- While you are waiting, thoroughly cover your work surface with newspaper or paper towels
- Use the flat edge of the chisel to chip away the stone until your diamond is fully revealed
- Rinse your excavated diamond in clean water
