Author Info: Dr. Dineshan Koovakkai is presently working as Assistant Librarian at Central University of Kerala and holding charge of the University Library of CUK. He completed his postgraduation in Economics from University of Calicut in 1986, BLISc from University of Kerala in 1990 and MLISc from University of Calicut in 1995 (with First Rank). He was awarded Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from University of Calicut in 2004. He has Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application and English Communication, and has cleared NET in Library and Information Science. He is a Research Guide in Library and Information Science in Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and a resource person in a number of institutions. He is a member of many professional associations like ILA, IASLIC, KLA and KELPRO. He has published 34 research papers and edited one book.
