- Product DescriptionA Color Blending medium is a substance that is added to paint to change one or more of its properties. In acrylic mediums, these mixtures can be incorporated into the pigment to lengthen its drying time, change the texture. Mediums are bought in addition to paints. - Color Shading - Slow down drying time for blending color - Increase smoothness of the painting - Increase Sunlight UV Resistance - Increase color transparency (required skillful blending technique) - Increase Fastness There is no absolute ratio for adding medium, but the recommended ratio is 4:1
