Legendary wrestlers are in WWE 2K23. Here are a few of the best players.
People often say that the high flyers and expert mat wrestlers are the best in the ring, but the best brawlers also make their art look brutal and real. It’s also a style that works well against skilled players, high flyers, and teams with a lot of power. WWE 2K23 shows how different wrestlers have different styles.
But in WWE 2K23, choosing the right type of brawler is more than just picking or making a striker base.A wrestler who uses martial arts like Rob Van Dam or Shinsuke Nakamura can be a striker. For the brawler to get the upper hand, he or she needs to use roughhouse moves and hits. They use eye pokes, chokes, headlock-punch combos, digging a mudhole in the corner, and other moves. Let’s look at some of WWE 2K23’s best fighters.
Big Boss Man
The Big Boss Man is a wrestling star from the WWF/WWE’s golden age. He was a wrestler who weighed more than 300 pounds at his best. But for a big guy, he was surprisingly quick. He had a memorable battle with Hulk Hogan when he was a bad guy. And their steel cage match was one of the best of the time.
In WWE 2K23, his grade is criminally low, but fans can change his overall to make him do better in the ring. The Big Boss Man has a good range of brutal actions and moves that make him a great wrestler and a good choice for players who like to play as a fast big man with a good finishing move, the side splash.
Jake The Snake
Jake the Snake was one of the most charismatic fighters of his time. He stood out because he was one of the few fighters who didn’t yell, rant, and rave like an angry Incredible Hulk who hadn’t eaten in a while. Jake’s speech was cool, calm, and well-thought-out.
The ring made a copy of this person. Even though Jake the Snake wasn’t known for his artistic skills, he hit his opponents hard with moves like the short-arm clothesline, his famous punches, and, of course, the DDT as his finisher.
JBL
John Bradshaw Layfield, also known as JBL, has been in WWE wrestling games for a long time. When he was known as a Bradshaw, some of his most famous matches were with Ron Simmons/Faarooq as part of the APA tag team. But when he changed into the JBL character, he was the most effective.
As JBL, he played a rich, haughty Texas businessman who reminded me of Ted DiBiase from The Million Dollar Man and JR from the TV show Dallas. JBL was not a technical wrestler like Dibiase. Instead, he stuck to his brawling style and had famous feuds with Eddie Guerrero and John Cena. JBL was a big, strong wrestler who had one of the best clotheslines in the WWE.
Vader
In WCW, Vader, who went by the name “Big Van Vader,” was known as one of the most dangerous and scary fighters of the 1990s. He didn’t shine as much as he should have in WWE. But his fights with Stan Hansen and Cactus Jack in WCW and Japan are some of the toughest matches fans have ever seen.
Vader is one of the most powerful wrestlers in WWE 2K23. He is also one of the best brawlers. Vader has brutal punches that can knock out his WWE 2K23 opponents with just one hit. He also has violent combos that are just like the way he wrestles in real life. Vader is also a 400-pound man who is quick on his feet and can finish off his opponents with a Moonsault.
Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens has been a fan favourite from the time he was in Ring of Honour to the time he won the main event on the first night of WrestleMania 39. He has played both the bad guy and the good guy. Owens isn’t the biggest or scariest guy, but he makes up for it with his skill and style. Which is a mix of brawling and some really cool moves.
Owens’s style is similar to that of Stone Cold Steve Austin, and he even finishes his matches with the Stunner. But his quickness, rough style, and drive are shown well in WWE 2K23 by his unique set of moves.
Cactus Jack
Mick Foley played the role of Cactus Jack until 1996. It is one of Foley’s best and most violent characters. With violent matches against Vader and Eddie Gilbert, including one with barbed wire in Tri-State Wrestling, Cactus was and still is known as one of the most extreme brawlers ever.
Foley had big fights with Sting, Abdullah the Butcher, and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff. Cactus Jack’s most memorable match, though, was against Vader, when Jack’s ear was ripped off during a WCW match. Foley finally went to WWE and became known as “Mankind.” The Cactus Jack character and the “Dude Love” character, which was based on the 1970s, came back, though. Now, fans can relive some of Foley’s most famous fights, like a Hell in a Cell with The Undertaker or an Extreme Rules match with Vader.
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Rowdy Roddy Piper may be one of the best brawlers in WWE history. He could tell a story in the ring and keep fans on the edge of their seats. As one of the best bad guys in the company against Hulk Hogan or as one of the most entertaining good guys against stars like Rick Rude, Ric Flair, and Adrian Adonis.
Piper was known for his unique style of fighting, but he was also not afraid to break the rules with moves like eye pokes, low hits, and weapons. Piper is often seen as the talent who got the most out of Hulk Hogan during their fight in the 1980s, which led to the first WrestleMania main event. In their famous Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 8, Piper’s high-energy style worked against both Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart.
Stone Cold Steve Austin
He was probably one of the most famous fighters in Eggy Car game. Stone Cold Steve Austin is without a question one of the best-rated players. Austin’s signature style of fighting has often helped his opponent’s style. Austin could keep up with fighters like The Undertaker, Triple H, and The Rock when they were fighting at WrestleMania.
Austin wasn’t just a guy who got into fights in bars. Fans may remember him as the cocky bad guy “Stunning Steve Austin,” who he played for a while. Austin often broke the rules and got into fights, but he kept things interesting by also wrestling and fighting. Like Piper, he could tell a story in the ring and keep the crowd amused by controlling the pace. Mixing in some classic rest holds, and exploding into his signature stomps, elbow drops, and middle-finger salutes.
Now, you can play WWE 2K23 on your PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
